Windows 10 with Gaming Task Manager

We all know what Task Manager does, but let’s assume you’ve heard this term for the first time. Task Manager is that Gangster which comes to rescue when you’ve got a non-responding program or app or just any thing on your computer which stops responding. But, this is not the only work of Task manager. Task Manager monitors apps, programs, and services running on background and it gives us all the details of any particular program. You can also change the individual priority of any application.

Microsoft has been working on a new Task-manager (specially designed for games). The Task manager will give you information about your CPU,GPU & performance of your system, meanwhile preventing the game from crashing. Very often games crash if you try to use Task manager while in game, but the new task manager is built right inside the Xbox Game Bar and it will also work with both games and your applications, including Chrome or Edge.

This update was first released as part of an Insider preview update, but now it is live and to get this you need to update Xbox Game Bar from the Microsoft Store. We are assuming you are running on windows version 2004 or 1909 or 1903 as it is available only for these particular versions at present. When you open the homepage of the Xbox Game Bar, there you will see Resources widget with a list of processes running in the background and their system usage statistics. You can identify the apps which are using more power and running in the background, slowing down your game.

And just like the normal Task manager you can end a task, but don’t forget that you might lose your unsaved data.
