According to Max Weinbach (Android Police), Samsung India is about to release a mid-range smartphone in India with android 11 out of the box, the smartphone is rumored to house the snapdragon 460 processor. SM-F127G is its rumored model number, the new device will be a Samsung Galaxy M model.

Most of the smartphone manufacturers out there are still providing mid-range phones with Android 10 or below at present, and here’s Samsung with Android 11 right out of the box and that too in mid-range devices. You can expect this phone to be an alternative for the OnePlus Nord N100, which has the same Snapdragon 460 SOC but runs on Android 10 out of the box.

The Snapdragon 460 mentioned above is an entry-level 64-bit ARM LTE system on a chip designed by Qualcomm and introduced in early 2020.

This is our first 4-series mobile platform to come fully loaded with Qualcomm® FastConnect™ 6100, which combines high-performing technologies in one connectivity sub-system. These advancements allow you to accomplish more on your device from easy multitasking and web browsing to casual gaming. Experience first-in-series AI that powers smarter, more intuitive on-device interactions that respond to you and your environment — like intelligent photo capture and better voice assistance to accomplish daily tasks. And now, you can document the moment from nearly every angle with triple camera support — and store it all at half the size.”- Qualcomm

The chip supports Qualcomm Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology, though we aren’t sure if the phone will be enabled for Quick Charge or not. We aren’t sure of any specific release dates for the device but we expect an announcement by the end of 2020.
