Google clearly mentioned that the speed of the browser has drastically increased for computers & android both, they also specifically mentioned that webpages load instantly over android. The firm also mentioned that you can expect additional battery life of an hour or more while using Chrome and there’s a reason for it, the chrome tabs that you aren’t using will no longer draw your CPU power, hence you get extra juice out of your battery and CPU at the same time.
There’s an additional feature which will be released later for windows, Linux and macOS users, you can expect a completely different experience while using tabs strip & address bar. If you have many tabs open on the browser, google will allow you to search the tab, which will help you to navigate to the particular tab. Google also mentioned about Chrome Actions, where you can search for specific actions and launch them right from there. Editing saved passwords, clearing history, and similar shortcuts will be available at Chrome Actions.
If your computer shuts down all of a sudden for any reason, you can still continue where you left off. In the new tab you will find cards, that has captured your recently visited web pages. Chrome 87 build is already out for desktops, if you’re an average user then you might want to pay extra attention to notice the changes.
