Five New features for your Android Device

Recently Google, in a blog post has mentioned the new features which they are going to roll out very soon. Android 11 might be very different from previous ones as it is going to have these latest add-ons on Pixel phones along with the old Pixel phones. Android 11 might carry those important features which we always needed in our phones, like blocking spam calls on Google Phone app. Here are the five new features which are supposed to give you a better Android experience.

The first feature was a necessary one, now you can Open apps Via Google Assistant.

Just say “hey google” and you can command it to open apps and even search the required things, but that doesn’t mean that you should expect it to be like Iron man’s Jarvis. It still has a long way to go for that.

I’m sure you are aware of Google’s video calling app, popularly known as Google Duo. The second feature is now you can share screen with others while on video conference in Google Duo. This feature is already present in Google Meet, where you can share interesting photos, visuals. Other than this feature, there’s a video-message option in Duo which can be sent to anyone and specially for one’s who aren’t interested in taking more calls.

The third feature as mentioned earlier is Blocking spam calls on Google Phone app. This feature will work smoothly on most of the devices (including your device) as it is only associated with Google Dialer app. There’s also an article where I’ve mentioned the advantages of using Google dialer app check it out by clicking . The phone app will now be able to stop and block unnecessary spam calls on its own and even will tell you that who is calling, along with the reason.

The fourth feature is a life saver and it will save lives for sure! You might have noticed that there were rumors about Google Transcribe app. Now your phone will tell you if someone has knocked your door or if you have water running which you forgot to turn off. Once this feature is enabled, it will vibrate and flash and tell you if there’s an fire alarm or any notification which it can detect. People with hearing aids can calm down now, as your phone will tell you if there’s a knock on your door or a fire-alarm.

The fifth and the last feature which Google mentioned is about Action Block where now you can communicate through Action Block but without voice usage. It works as an artificial voice for people who has problems like cognitive and other speech-related disabilities. Not to forget that Google has also integrated thousands of pictures pertaining to communication symbols from Tobii Dynavox and existing speech therapy materials. They’ve also added Japanese, Italian, German and French languages in the app.
