AMD Ryzen CPUs all set for Advanced Performance Tuning

It’s always better to stay updated on the latest drivers to get the max out of your chip, AMD has just released their latest chipset driver. If you are using an AMD Ryzen equipped machine for your daily needs, then here’s the good news for you. The drivers released recently are made to improve performance tuning for Ryzen machines with mainstream AM4 along with HEDT TRX40 sockets.
There’s a driver known as MicroPEP driver, which assists the processor to manage different transitions between different power states and different frequencies. They did fix a lot of bugs. AMD has also updated the I2C driver along with the changelog notes “clock frequency tuning”. And this makes it very clear that AMD is tweaking its power management systems.
The Ryzen power plan also gets updated from version 6.0.0.3 to 6.0.0.7
Overclocking an AMD CPU wasn’t the same always, if you’ve noticed the previous overclocking capabilities between AMD and its Rival Intel, then you would have noticed that generally Intel processors comes with a medium clock speed and it can be overclocked to Turbo frequencies. But on the other hand AMD chips had less overclocking capabilities as they were already running on higher speeds compared to Intel, so you can say they were already half-way overclocked at their stock frequencies.
These latest drivers are made just to squeeze out every last drop from your Chip. Performance tuning helps the processor to smoothly switch between different power states and it keeps the processor stable on the long run.
